This Bra… Wow. So it is just a bra right? No no no to me it
is heaven on earth.
Now I have never owned a racer back bra, nor have I ever
shopped for underwear in H&M! I am 5’2 (some would argue 5’1…) I wear a UK
size 8, sometimes 10 all over, I would say I am very curvy and like to compare
my shape to that of Kourtney Kardashian, small in height with a decent bum and
boobs to match. However I am not a cleavage girl, much to my boyfriend’s
disappointment haha, I prefer round necks to V-necks and again to my
boyfriend’s disappointment I prefer comfort to sexy.. (Am I the worst gf
ever?!)
Having a small back but larger cup size means I can never
buy from stores like H&M or even better and cheaper Primark!! Anyway,
spending £30 per bra from places like Bravissimo or Freya is necessary and it
also feels necessary to wear a bra 99.9% of the time. I have been searching for
a ‘bed bra’ for a while now, not for bed, for relaxing and comfort days where I
feel the need to have some sort of support without feeling hitched up.
When I came across this Bra shopping by myself one day (my
favorite sport) I picked up a size 8 that looked like it wouldn’t cover an inch
of my chest so I put it back. I then walked around and found some other
beauties to try on. The journey to the fitting room meant passing the Lingerie
section again, so I went back for one last look, maybe I could get a 10 or a
12, I want it for comfort right? There was an 8 a 14 and a 16… I picked up the
14 thinking the cup size looked about right and just thought sod it just try it
on.
Now do not get me wrong there is obviously a little room
around the back but the cup fits perfectly and with the straps tightened, it
fits comfortably and the little extra room is great for binge days! Its my
‘around the house bra’ I’ve always wanted, apart from the skin tone colour (my
guy hates skin tone), I believe not only is it comfortable and a racer back,
Its so pretty too!
